MT5 liquidity architecture
Liquidity design connects market data and execution to the broker trading environment. Start with instruments, expected flow, execution model, counterparties and operational controls.
Price distribution
Map price sources, symbol normalization, markups, spread rules and how quotes reach client terminals.
Execution connectivity
Define where orders are executed, the protocol used, routing behavior, rejects, partial fills and failover procedures.
Native and external options
MetaTrader 5 supports connectivity to liquidity providers and exchanges. Current MT5 infrastructure also includes native liquidity connectivity options, so an external bridge is not automatically necessary.
Monitoring
Track connectivity health, latency, rejects, slippage and execution exceptions using metrics appropriate to the broker model.
Provider selection
Assess instrument coverage, execution model, commercial terms, technical interfaces, data quality, support and operational resilience.
Next step
Build a requirements matrix covering platform scope, integrations, connectivity, hosting, security, support and ownership. This makes vendor proposals comparable and exposes missing dependencies before deployment.
